The expert hands of Vaudaux’s team of 30 work wood pieces into finer parts, later carefully and flawlessly assembling them into the finest display casings or boxes. The purest design, the softest sanding and finishing for a pristine, flawless precious object.

Jewelry cabinets require the addition of molded inner casings to receive the finest pieces: it takes a lot of patience and meticulous gestures to perfectly fit the parts. The casings are later turned into cozy cocoons when covered with layers of refined fabrics, ready to nest precious jewels.

Last, Vaudaux made boxes and cabinets are leather upholstered: the extraordinary skills and talent of Vaudaux operate with magic, using the softest leather and suede. The result is no less than haute couture pieces.

At Vaudaux, every cabinet making project is scrutinized until the last detail to consider the final destination of the fine object. Craftsmen will carefully pick a wood essence adapted to the local climate and weather conditions under which the box is destined: bound to Stockholm, Rio de Janeiro or Dubai, the delicate box hosting a precious necklace will be crafted with different woods.

Some machine tools, owned by Vaudaux and still daily operated by experts to embellish leathers, are beyond centennial: their presence is a precious testimony of a unique and priceless know-how, developed and valued every day.
